Son Rompe Pera

Hailing from Mexico City, Son Rompe Pera is redefining traditional marimba music with an explosive fusion of cumbia, punk, rock, ska, and garage. Formed by the Gama brothers, the band has earned international acclaim for their genre-defying sound and high-energy performances that celebrate both tradition and innovation. Known for turning every show into an unforgettable dance party, Son Rompe Pera blends infectious rhythms with raw punk spirit, creating a live experience that's as exhilarating as it is unique. Their music pays homage to the marimba's rich cultural roots while pushing its possibilities into bold new territory.
