Tauceti (FR) | Friction x Substance

Tauceti is a French techno producer and DJ making her Canada debut, brought in through a joint Substance and Friction show.

She trained as a drummer at the Toulouse Conservatory before moving into electronic music, and that percussive background still drives her sets. Her Middle Eastern and Asian roots shape a sound that sits between futurism and cultural heritage, pulling in influences from cinema and digital art.

She has released on Non Series, Semantica and Denovali, and holds residencies at Le Sucre in Lyon and Lehmann Club in Stuttgart. She has also played Nuits Sonores, Detroit's Return to Source and Minnesota's The Great Beyond.

Expect percussive, ambient techno built for losing yourself on the floor, with lighting by Zaya transforming the space. Support is TBA.
