About Bar Gobo
Bar Gobo is a hi-fi listening bar and wine bar at 237 Union Street, where Strathcona meets Chinatown. It opened in August 2020 and plays only vinyl, picked by its resident selector, Paul. The system is the draw: 1972 Altec 846b Valencia speakers, a Dynaco ST-70 amp, a Resør rotary mixer and modified Technics SL-1200 turntables. Tables are booked through OpenTable.
