About Fortune Sound Club
Fortune is a third-floor club on East Pender Street in Chinatown. Garret "G-Man" Louie and Rob Rizk opened it in 2009 in the old Ming's restaurant space, with a custom sound system and a 60-foot Shepard Fairey mural up the stairwell. It holds about 450 people. Regular nights include Midnight Mondays for R&B, Happy Ending Fridays, and "where you at?" Saturdays for hip hop and dance.
